The Family Money Plan
Build your household's one-page money plan live: income, fixed costs, fun money, and a debt payoff order.
Delton Financial Inc. helps families build calm, practical money plans — budgeting, debt, savings and protection — in plain language. No jargon. No products to sell. Just a counsellor in your corner.
About us
Most money advice starts with what you should buy. We start with how you live — the daycare bill, the car that needs replacing, the debt you stopped mentioning at dinner. Real family finance is behaviour, priorities and honest conversation.
Your Delton counsellor maps where every dollar goes, untangles what is owed, and builds a step-by-step plan your whole household can keep. We teach. We coach. We cheer you on at the quarterly check-ins.
Judgement-free. Every money story is welcome — debt, divorce, layoffs, or just chaos.
Plain language. We translate finance into decisions you can make tonight.
Whole-family view. Both partners and older kids sit in — money is a team sport.
“We measure success in calmer kitchens, clearer Sundays, and kids who know what a budget is for.”

Private & confidential. Private & confidential — nothing you share is ever sold or repeated.

What we do
Each service is education and coaching — delivered in your living room language, paced to your life. If you ever need a licensed product specialist, we refer you to one we trust. No referral fees. Ever.
See exactly where your money goes and design a spending plan with room for both the bills and the fun — guilt not included.
A clear order of attack for credit cards, lines of credit and loans, plus honest education on options like consumer proposals.
Understand what you've saved, what you'll need, and the gap between them — taught simply, so the future stops being scary.
Make the most of grants like the CESG and build a realistic saving rhythm for your kids' schooling — from day one to diploma.
A plain-language look at what coverage your family actually needs, so a crisis never becomes a financial disaster.
Marriage, separation, inheritance, illness, loss — the moments money gets emotional. We help you decide clearly when it counts.
Every session is education and coaching — we don't sell investments, insurance or products.
How we work
A free 30 minutes. You tell your story and your worries; we listen, then tell you honestly whether we can help.
Together we map income, spending, debt and savings onto one honest page. Most families see the problem clearly within a week.
Priorities, order of operations and a written plan in plain language — built around your paydays, not a product brochure.
A quarterly rhythm keeps the plan alive as life happens — raises, babies, moves, setbacks. We adjust together.
Most families leave their first paid session with a written plan. Progress is reviewed every 90 days.
Family stories
“We came in with two lines of credit, a car loan and zero idea where the money went. Eighteen months later we're debt-free except the mortgage, and date night includes a budget meeting — it's weirdly fun now.”
FAQ
Ask us anything — no commitment, no follow-up calls unless you want one.
hello@deltonfinancialinc.caAdvisors typically manage money or sell products. We do neither. Delton counsellors educate and coach: budgets, debt strategy, savings habits, and the order of operations for your goals. When a licensed specialist is genuinely needed, we refer you to one — no referral fees, ever.
No. We are paid only by our clients, for our time. There is no product, fund or policy behind any recommendation we make — which is exactly why the advice stays honest.
Your first discovery session is free. After that, pricing is per session or a monthly retainer, always agreed in writing before we begin. No long-term contracts and no surprises — if money is the reason you're nervous about money help, we get that.
Especially then — that's our most common starting point. We begin with a judgement-free snapshot, then lay out your options in order, including when a consumer proposal or credit counselling agency genuinely fits. You'll never be pushed; you'll always know the next step.
We teach the framework — how much to save, which accounts do what, and what to ask a professional — but we don't execute trades, pick stocks, or file returns. We coordinate with your accountant or advisor when your plan needs them.
Completely. What you share stays between your family and your counsellor. We never sell data, and we only use anonymised, aggregated numbers to improve how we teach.
